OFCOM regulates TV and radio by overseeing all media channels and produces a code of conduct that al media channels must follow or have their licence to make content removed and/or be fined heavily.

6) How do Doctor Who and His Dark Materials help the BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform, educate and entertain? Answer this question in at least 150 words.
His Dark Materials was able to help BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform by informing the audience what type of world they have and their perspectives towards their own world, the BBC was also able to educate the audience by teaching us how different kinds of world differentiate from one another, the BBC was able to entertain the audience by using sounds, different kinds of mark scheme, and by using a character that's not real. They also made it look interesting and entertaining by using different types of settings and by using loads of different scenes. They also added loads of dramas to keep to series going. Similarly, Doctor Who was able to help BBC to meet the BBC's remit to inform how aliens like the human world and how they use the human world as an escapism and by showing how intelligent aliens are, the BBC was able to educate the audience by showing how different kinds of science work, they BBC was able to entertain the audience by showing how Susan wants to stay in the human world, and her grandfather wants her to go with him causing the two teachers to get involved as they were curious and worried at the same time.
