 1) What key conventions of TV advertising can you find in the Galaxy advert?

2) What is the key message the Galaxy advert is communicating about its chocolate? The slogan for the advert will help you with this question.
-The key message of the advert is that their chocolate is smooth, elegant, and classic, yet luxurious, and that it's worth buying.

3) Who is Audrey Hepburn and why did Galaxy select Audrey Hepburn for this advert? 
-Audrey Hepburn is a famous actor, she represent heritage and elegance which links to galaxy because of their "Why have cotton when you can have silk?".

4) What is intertextuality?
-when a media text references another media text.

5) What Audrey Hepburn films are suggested in this advert and how is this effect created (e.g. mise-en-scene - CLAMPS: costume, lighting, actors, make-up, props, setting)?
-Audrey Hepburn's costume is presented as elegant, neat, and posh different from the other peoples in the bus. They used a high key lighting to show Audrey Hepburn's beauty and so that she can focus with her eating the chocolate. The setting shows that the chocolate won't make the audience regret buying it  just like the Italian Rivera where the view is as elegant as a silk.

-The advert's narrative follow Todorov's theory because Audrey Hepburn was in a bus where there was an accident and a man came where Audrey Hepburn decided to go with him so that she can eat her chocolate without chaos.

-The representation of a celebrity in the advert is that they can get what they want, and that many are attracted with their beauty without even trying to be pretty.

9) What representations of gender can you find in this advert?
-The representation of gender in the advert is conventional because the women is seen to be feminine and are to be save by a men, and the men is shown to be strong who will save a women.

10) How are stereotypes subverted at the end of the Galaxy advert to reflect modern social and cultural contexts? 
-Stereotypes are subverted when Audrey Hepburn sat at the back seat instead of the passenger seat, and how she had courage to take off the bus drivers hat and put it on a stranger, which connotates that she isn't scared and shows that she can do whatever she wants.
