KEY CONCEPT FILM POSTER AND ANALYSIS

ELEMENTAL

Language: The font of this film makes it more appealing to the audience since it's in a rainbow color. It shows that this is a film since it has a date and casts. It also shows us that it's from Disney Pixar.


Industry: This film was released on 7 July 2023. The producer of elemental is Denise Ream. The film's fleeting after-credits scene became more famous than two hours and six minutes of beautifully crafted cinema that came before it.

Audience: This looks like it would be targeted at an audience of teens especially kids. It will obviously an attractive film since it's bright and it looks like it'll a fun movie from their facial expression.

Representation: The poster looks like it's a city, but a very futuristic, crowded, and scientific design. The poster looks bright. From the distance of the water guy from the fire girl shows that they're supposed to be separated or not meant to be. From the crowded background I think that each element have different locations to where their home should be.

LR:
The costumes of the characters shows different kinds of stereotypes which has connotations that they didn't grew up on the same area. The lighting emphasises more on high key lighting, which has connotations that it'll be bright an that this movie will focus on rainbow. The blue character shows a awkward vibe as shown in his smile, which has connotations that the blue character is maybe feeling difficult as we can see that the red character is flame, and we all know that flame and water are like enemies, but on the other hand the red character looks cool and is confident, which has connotations that the red character knows that she has to be optimistic since flames needs to be like act cool, and furious. The hair's character shows that author didn't made the characters look like normal person, this is shown on the girls hair, it only makes the girl look like a girl because of her eyes, which has connotations that in the next generation it will be different from the generation today. Within this the consumer will take a better and deeper look in this movie. The props shows different kinds of objects, like the gems, gems can be found underground, which has connotations that these setting is filmed underground.

1) The preferred reading of a media text is what the media wants the audience to see in a positive way. 2) The oppositional reading of media text is what the media doesn't want the audience to see. 3)  The trailer wants the audience to think that all kids are rebellion and they like to disobey their parents.
